Summary :
Provide technical assistance to internal customers including but not limited to developers, system administrators, project managers, editors, and management by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Provide internal customer support and technical issue resolution via E-Mail, phone and other electronic medium.
· Triage tickets that coming to ticketing system (Trac).
· Monitor ticketing system to ensure tickets are handled correctly and in a timely manner.
· Create and monitor tickets for teams that performed work outside our own technical groups.
· Obtain understanding of technology and hardware stack related to company operations.
· Identify and correct or advise, on operational issues that do not require technical intervention from development or system administrators.
· Assist in the monitoring of critical systems and report any issues to System Administrators to ensure that maximum uptime is obtained.
· Perform creation of new accounts using company provide software tools. (Trac, SVN, Basecamp).
· Place and track orders for the technical teams using our procurement systems.
· Other duties may be assigned as required.
The ideal candidate will also possess the following skills:
· Able to work independently and efficiently to meet deadlines.
· Able to promptly answer support related email, phone calls and other electronic communications.
· Self motivated, detail-oriented, and organized. Able to multi-task.
· Experienced in diagnosing hardware and software issues.
· Good judgment to identify and escalate urgent situations appropriately
· Proficient in Internet-related technologies such as Apache, MySQL, PHP, Drupal, Ad Serving and Analytics Technologies. Familiar with the technical architecture of web sites.
· Excellent communication (oral and written), interpersonal, organizational, and presentation skills. Detail-oriented.
· Curious and able to learn new things quickly.
Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Education and/or Experience:
Ideally a technical degree in a computer-related subject unless able to demonstrate similar-level aptitude.
Language Skills[TAH1] <#_msocom_1> :
Able to read, analyze, and interpret technical procedures and documentation. Able to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals. Able to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of internal customers.
Reasoning Ability:
Able to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Able to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
